ImagingPlanet® announces the release of the new ProgRes® Capture-Pro imaging application for PowerPC and Intel based Macintosh® computers

SANTA BARBARA, CA – May 2006 – ImagingPlanet®, a distributor of easy-to-use research grade digital cameras for microscopy, announces the release of ProgRes® Capture-Pro Software for PowerPC and Intel® based Macintosh® computers.

ProgRes® Capture-Pro is a new Macintosh® based imaging package that controls the entire line of Jenoptik® digital microscope cameras available on ImagingPlanet®

The software supports Macintosh® OSX 10.3.9 and higher providing a simple and intuitive user interface. Features include:

• Fast live image preview with zoom and image rotation capability.

• Automatic exposure setting with overexposure monitoring and
Histogram

• Image settings with control options in live image mode for RGB color adaptations,
shading correction, gamma, contrast, brightness and saturation

• Time lapse recording

• Monochrome mode

• Analog and digital gain
